On October 22, Professor Yu Dajin of the School of Statistics was invited to participate in the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference to continue to promote the construction of the Greater Nanchang Metropolitan Area Expert Forum. At the symposium, Professor Yu Dajin combined his own research results and gave a speech on the theme of Standing upright, coordinating development, and continuing to promote the construction of the Greater Nanchang Metropolitan Area, which was affirmed by Zhang Yong, vice chairman of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference and leading experts.

In order to continue to promote the construction of the Greater Nanchang Metropolitan Area, Professor Yu Dajin suggested that efforts should be made from four aspects. The first is the standing upright of the industry. It is necessary to vigorously develop high-tech industries, do a good job in undertaking related industries, and vigorously develop labor-intensive industries. The second is the standing upright of space optimization. It is necessary to promptly promote the reform of Nanchang County, enlarge the scale of the central city, step up the transformation of the old city, and improve the city's function and taste. The third is the standing upright of transportation construction. It is necessary to strengthen the relevant construction and operation of the three airports including Nanchang Changbei Airport, and at the same time accelerate the construction of ground rail transit. The fourth is the standing upright of talent construction. It is necessary to increase the introduction and training of high-end talents, cultivate and make good use of local talents, so that talents can be retained and used well.

It is reported that in recent years, as an information decision-making consulting expert of the Provincial Party Committee General Office and a special researcher of the Provincial Government Research Office and think tank member, Professor Yu Dajin has led the team to complete a number of topics related to Jiangxi regional development. The research results have been fruitful and have been approved and implemented by the provincial leadership, which contributes JUFE wisdom to the decision-making of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government.
