On the afternoon of February 26, the School of Statistics and Data Science held a 2024 new semester working meeting to convey the spirit of the university-wide meeting of middle-level cadres and deploy the relevant work for the new semester.

Dean Ping Wei-ying informed the work progress during the winter vacation at the meeting. Ping Wei-ying pointed out that in 2023, under the joint efforts of the faculty and students, the college's discipline construction, undergraduate teaching, graduate education, personnel training, scientific research and other aspects of the college have achieved excellent results, the college's career development momentum is good, and I hope that the whole faculty and staff of the college in 2024 to carry forward the spirit of the Dragon Horse, and to promote the cause of the development of the college to a new level. Ping Weiying deployed the national social science, self science fund declaration, the introduction of talents, social services and external cooperation at the meeting, and emphasized the discipline of teaching at the beginning of the school year.

Tao Chunhai, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, conveyed the spirit of President Deng Hui's speech at the meeting. Tao Chunhai also on the beginning of the school year student education management, employment work, mental health education work was arranged.

Vice President Guo Lu laid out the management of graduate education, pre-defense and subject declaration work. Vice President Liu Qing laid out the work of undergraduate teaching and assessment and rectification.
