一、威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校简介

威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校（University of Wisconsin-Madison），简称UW–Madison，创建于1848年，位于美国威斯康星州的首府麦迪逊市，是一所著名的公立研究型大学。该校是威斯康星大学系统的旗舰学府，也是美国大学协会和十大联盟创始成员，被誉为公立常春藤大学。威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校名列2023QS世界大学排名第83位，2023泰晤士高等教育世界大学排名第81位，2023U.S.News世界大学排名第63位，在2023年U.S. News美国最佳大学排名第38。在上海交大世界大学学术排名中，威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校在自然科学领域位居世界第24位，在生命科学领域位居世界第18位，在社会科学领域排名世界第33位，是一所公认的世界级高等学府。

二、威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校统计学专业简介

威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校统计系成立于1960年，由George Box教授创办。威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校统计系设有本科和研究生学位课程。统计系从成立之初就已经发展成为全球主要的统计系之一，在不同的衡量标准中，该系位居美国前十。统计系有约25名教授、副教授、助理教授，200余名研究生,每年授10-15名统计博士学位，60-80名统计硕士学位。统计系注重理论与实用结合，有一套健全的课程，培养的学生在美国有很高的声誉，博士生就业率100%。

三、统计学3+1+1联合教育项目简介

江西财经大学与威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校统计学3+1+1联合教育项目旨在为合格的江西财经大学本科学生参加威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校非学位访问国际学生项目（VISP）进行多达一年的学士学位学习。满足要求的学生，可在VISP期间自主申请统计学硕士项目。在结束本科学习后接下来的一个学年内（两个学期，每学期修3-4门课），取得威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校统计系硕士学位，学位证书与威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校两年制硕士相同。

四、申请条件

已经在江西财经大学统计与数据科学学院完成了三年的学习；

在江西财经大学学习的前三年里，平均成绩达到了75%或更高（相当于美国4分制的B级或3.0级或更高）；

在江西财经大学学习的前三年，在所有数学和统计学课程（相当于“B”或3.0或以上）中平均取得了至少75%的成绩；

具备足够的英语语言技能完成学业，托福85分（网络），550分（纸质），雅思6.5分或以上；

满足威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校继续研究部（DCS）网站上概述的所有VISP入学要求。

五、申请程序

有意向申请的同学，提前准备以下材料：

②　中英文大学成绩单扫描件

③　托福或雅思英语成绩扫描件（暂时没有也可以后续提供）

每一年具体提交时间将会在学院网站上发布通知，学院将统一提交至威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校统计系。威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校审查通过后，将拟录取名单提供给该校VISP项目负责人，拟录取学生必须在VISP首页办理正式入学申请手续。VISP项目负责人将在所有条件满足的前提下做出最终录取决定。

六、其他事项

1. 报名该项目的学生，须确保第二年6月能够满足毕业要求。请仔细对照培养方案，提前确认课程修读、毕业论文答辩等事项。

2. 上述项目将于申请截止时间后进行项目单位审核，终审通过的学生根据后续通知，在威大网站办理正式入学申请手续：https://visp.wisc.edu。

3. 签证的办理环节需提供财务文件，表明有足够的经济来源保证学费和生活费，财务文件可以是奖学金信件、个人或亲属的银行对账单。

Curriculum Plan for UW–Madison Department of Statistics
Visiting International Student Program (VISP)

The University of Wisconsin–Madison (UW–Madison) Department of Statistics in collaboration with the Division of Continuing Studies (DCS) has a collaborative Visiting International Student Program (VISP) in Statistics between the UW–Madison and selected international universities (home institution). The program allows VISP students to spend their final undergraduate year at the UW–Madison Department of Statistics as part of VISP through DCS. The VISP students are advised and their progress monitored by Department of Statistics Their UW–Madison credits can be counted toward the baccalaureate degree offered by their home institution. At the end of their year, the VISP students return to their home institution to complete the home institution’s baccalaureate degree requirements.

VISP students must take at least 12 credits per semester in their year at UW–Madison. Courses offered for credit include the following:
