​           Yuan-yuan Li，an undergraduate student，has received the world's top research university - University of California, Davis. (UC Davis) - the first round offer of  PhD program and has won the full scholarship funding. She will be enrolled in the fall of 2018.

Yuan-yuan Li is an undergraduate student in the experimental class of top-notch talent training in the college of statistics of our university. She has strong interest in mathematics and statistics and has great grades. She has been a teaching assistant in ‘mathematics analysis’ and ‘regression analysis’ courses.

 It is worth mentioning that Yuan-yuan Li has led the team to win the second place in the "HSBC cup" SAS data analysis contest of national universities in Jiangxi province in 2016.Meanwhile, the team has got into the top 100 in China.

Yuan-yuan Li has carried out a field of school scientific research subject, published a provincial journal paper and participated in two  English academic theses, which were contributed the ‘Statistical Papers’ and other well-known international journal of statistics.

     Davis is a part of the prestigious university of California system, which is a member of "public ivy league" and is one of the top universities in the United States at the tier-1 (highest level).The university has a strong faculty of statistics and statistics is ranked 27th in the United States. The university has a limited number of doctoral students  admission worldwide each year and the competition is fierce. It was not easy for Yuan-yuan Lin to obtained the recognition of the University of California, Davis by the virtue of her solid mathematical skills, excellent academic performance and rich academic experience.
