On July 3, 2020, the School of Statistics opened a summer camp for outstanding undergraduates nationwide-the Advanced Statistics Course of Jiang xi University of Finance and Economics officially opened. The purpose of the summer camp is to use the excellent and high-quality teaching teachers of our school to help students have a deep understanding of statistics, econometrics, and cutting-edge applications in economics, finance, and other disciplines to improve the quality of graduate students in our school. Because of the epidemic situation, this summer class was conducted remotely and online. The main links included the opening ceremony, series of lectures, and mentor exchange meetings.
Since May this year, more than 70 students have applied for registration. After strict selection by the college, more than 60 students from 22 colleges and universities across the country have finally decided to participate in this online summer course.

At 9 a.m. on July 3, Dean Ping Wei ying welcomed the arrival of the students before the class began, and introduced the excellent teachers for this summer class and the developments made by the School of Statistics in recent years, which inspired The students' longing for the School of Statistics of Jiang xi University of Finance and Economics.
This summer camp will last for three days. The first day of the course will be lectured by Prof. Luo Liang qing and Prof. Ping Wei ying. Professor Luo introduced the prospects of economic statistics and related teaching and research hot spots to everyone. The content of the lectures broadened everyone's horizons and allowed students to learn more about statistics. Professor Ping introduced the digital economy measurement and sharing economy to the students, which attracted the students' interest in the digital economy and the sharing economy, so that the students could further understand the research progress of the current digital economy and the sharing economy.
