On July 11, the 2nd Young Statisticians Forum was held at Renmin University of China, from Renmin University of China, National Bureau of Statistics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Editorial Office of Statistical Research, Tsinghua University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Sun Yat-sen University, Southwest University of Political Science and Law , Zhejiang Gongshang University, Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, Hangzhou Dianzi University, Beijing Shuhai Online Technology Co., Ltd. and other representatives attended the meeting. Affected by the epidemic, this forum was carried out in the form of cloud connection and webcast. The main venue was watched by 18,600 people. Yuan Wei, a first-class professor at Renmin University of China, He Keng, former deputy director of the National Bureau of Statistics, and Zhang Xinyu, a researcher at the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, gave special lectures respectively. In the afternoon, the forum conducted reports and exchanges in parallel through three sub-venues. Participants discussed hot issues such as government statistics, sustainable development, globalization and regional integration, digital economy and new economy, big data and complex data, and public health emergency management. Professor Ping Weiying from the School of Statistics gave a report on Research on the Value of Internet Free Services at the branch venue.

The Young Statisticians Forum was co-sponsored by the Statistics Research editorial department, Peking University Guanghua School of Management, Tsinghua University China Economic and Social Data Research Center, Renmin University of China School of Statistics, Beijing Normal University School of Statistics, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics School of Statistics and Management. It was established to build a communication platform for young and middle-aged statisticians to continuously promote the development of statistical research in my country.
