On April 3, Yin Yanlin, deputy director of the Economic Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), came to the School of Economics and the School of Statistics and Data Science to give a lecture and a symposium titled Current Macroeconomic Situation in China. Before the presentation, President Deng Hui met with Yin Yanlin.     Yin Yanlin analyzed the current situation, problems and further development direction of China's macroeconomic development at this stage, starting from the three levels of China's macroeconomic development, contradictions and challenges, and development path. He believes that at this stage, China's economy maintains a stable and positive development trend, and the economic growth rate is returning to the potential growth rate; the manufacturing industry is intelligent and high-end, and the products are green, The new dynamics of economic development of intelligence and high-end manufacturing, greening of products, and digitization of the economy have gained strong momentum; the pulling role of the troika of consumption, investment and export is powerful, with consumption playing a fundamental role in economic growth, investment playing a key role in optimizing the structure, and export playing an important engine role in pulling economic growth; the role of the social economy in driving economic growth is also strong. Growth plays an important role as an engine; the social situation remains stable, but still faces multiple contradictions and challenges, the international situation on China's domestic and international double cycle of interference. We should resolutely implement the spirit of the central government, adhere to the principle of seeking progress amidst stability, promoting stability through progress, establishing before breaking, and integrating stabilizing growth and increasing strength.
